bloom where you are planted.

happy first day of spring!

it's no secret that i love spring. with its arrival comes blossoms and my heart can't contain itself. 

there are 338 pictures on my iphone right now and with the exception of about 15, they are all pictures of flowers. i have a problem, y'all.

bloom.

yesterday was a great day that i won't soon forget. i spent the afternoon in the pasture after discovering the daffodils and red flower bush were blooming. i was dancing around, praising God for His beauty. all the while, reveling in His merciful grace.

 if you know the name of this, please let me know! i call it a red bud bush, but i don't think that's what it is.

"i am overwhelmed with joy in the Lord my God! 

for He has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. 

i am like a bridegroom in his wedding suit or a bride with her jewels.  

the Sovereign Lord will show His justice to the nations of the world. everyone will praise Him!  

His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, with plants springing up everywhere."

joy in the little things.

nature makes my soul happy.

spring delight.

right now i hear the pitter-patter of rain against my window and kari jobe singing about my Jesus.

on my evening walk, i discovered the red bud bush in our pasture was blooming. i couldn't run fast enough to get my camera. last year, i bought a macro lens that cost more than i make in a month. it was worth every penny. in the middle of junk, there was beauty. i'm in love with spring.
